Loud enough to hear over the motors
On my speed boat that I use for waterskiing, I have a basic little radio that we tune in regularly to a local marina radio station. Problem is, we can never hear much of the music over the engines of the boat unless you are right there at the wheel. I found this amplifier online after a friend suggested it, ordered it, received it in 3 days, and by the following weekend, the music was powerful enough to carry all the way back to the skiers. It was simple to install, and has great frequency response. Its great for the boat.
Tailgate amped up
The college I follow on the football circuit is usually a full house in the stadium, so my friends and I generally just go to the parking lot and watch on our portable TV, and tailgate our butts off. We can cheer right along with the stadium group. Anyway, we like to have the game amped up through the back of the truck, and with this neat amplifier, we can hook the audio out of the Portable TV right into the amp and really make it sound like we are inside the stadium AND get all the play-by-plays from the commentators. Its not like being centerfield front to watch the game, but it sure is fun now that its amped.
