Great Bench for the Price
I'm 5'11", 240 lb (but trying to lose.) I know a lot of people review these lower-end benches and discuss the size and stability. My take is that it's adequate for me. Not super steady and slightly smaller than what would be ideal, but for the price I think it's fine. I bench 50 lb and find that it rocks a bit more than I'd like, but it's definitely not bad and I don't feel that it's dangerous - just isn't "rock" solid. I find as I lay on it I may have to slide a bit so that my body is on it just right - that's where it could stand to be just a bit bigger.
Ok, having said all that I really like it. I knew I wasn't getting the perfect bench at this price. I think I definitely got what I paid for. I really like that it folds up as we don't have a lot of room where we use it so we fold it up and put it against the wall when it's not in use. Great for the price
With 100 lb. dumbbells this bench can easily hold the 350 lbs handed to it. Had a Marcy bench before and had zero problems. So far this one is also working out like a charm.
Great for the price, caution if you like incline press
This bench really stands alone for its cost. It's easy to assemble, sturdy, looks good, and versatile. The box arrives beat to hell but fortunately it's packed well.
The only downside is that it's not very tall so if you're trying to do an incline of any sort, you won't be able to rest your head back. That may/may not be important to you (kind of a pain, IMO).
