The two previous reviews are dead on... plus I have more to add
I purchased this home gym because I can't always find time to go to the gym. The Caribou will let me do all the exercises I normally do while I'm there with out the travel time to and from and playing the waiting game for a machine. I'll start off by saying that the CPKG-CCO, with weight stack and 300 lb Olympic weight set, is a solid piece of equipment. Comes with and will handle more than enough weight to push me and my family to our limits. It takes some time to put together, but goes up easily with two people. The directions are clear and simple to follow. Just listen when the directions say not to tighten the bolts until instructed to do so and you'll be good to go. The problems come in to play when you look at the manufacturing. For the price, I would expect better attention to detail. First, the Smith and weight stack rods are not smooth. Poor quality control
I have the Caribou III Multi Gym w/ cable crossover and 200 lbs weight stack, and this machine has the most painful setup procedure ever!

There're 2 major and 2 minor defects with this machine.

Major defects:
1) Right behind the pulley for the lat pull-down, there's a hole that the cable must pass through in order for the entire cable system to work. This rectangular hole is simply too small! I had to spent about 2 hours using a metal file to enlarge the hole, it's not only time consuming but stressful for your fingers/hand.
2) About 35% of the holes on the weight stack are very difficult for the pin to completely insert in, because several of the holes on the center metal rod (which holds the weight plates as they are lifted) do not line up properly with the ones on the weight stack.

Minor defects:
1) The holes on the weight stack are facing toward the rear of the machine, in other word, you can't place the machine close to a wall...
Yukon Fitness Caribou III Package with Cable Crossover CPKG-CCO
I'm with Plunc, this home gym works very well. It has 14 gauge square tubular steel construction which seems to be the perfect compromise between weight and structural integrity and if assembled properly every feature works perfectly. The one reviewer who spent hours with a file widening a cable pass through hole really must have assembled his improperly (unless something really strange happened at the factory when his was being manufactured). Mine went together easily, but did require a few hours to fully assemble.

The Smith machine works well if the uprights are lubricated, but the best solution for attaining fluid motion while using it is to buy the linear bearing system from Yucon - they make it work just like the Smith machines at the gym.

The pec deck seat should be removed when using the cable crossover attachment which is easily done by pulling one quick release pin.

The included bars are made of hollow chromed steel and their plastic handles...

Poor design
The weight sled did not move up and down freely and the bolts needed to be loosened all the way to get the sled unstuck. So now it moves but it wobbles side to side. I selected this device since it was wider than the others out there in the same price range and has the same look as the ones in the gym. Since it is an convertible from leg press to hack squat the pad for the feet rocks back and forth which is very annoying along with the seat back moves around. It has poor design features and quality over all

Wolverine Home Gym
I bought this machine a few years ago, overall it is a good home gym for the price.

Pros:
-price
-multi stations
-customer service is great, had a cable go bad and they sent a replacement quickly.
-200 lb stack

Cons:
-did not care for the addition sled attachment, I found that it was not smooth and made a grinding noise - it may have had bad bearings. I finally just threw this away. The machine has another area to do squats so this was not a big deal.
-When you are using the full stack, there is some strecth in the system- maybe 1 to 2 inches b4 the full weight comes into play. This is not a big deal, but, if you have used commercial equipment this may bother you.

Bottom line if you are looking for decent machine at a reasonable price this may be for you.

Feel the Burn
Nice product,very well made. It was very easy to assemble,took about an hour. I've been doing crunches on the floor for months w/an assist type machine. I have felt no burn after until I started using the Ab Crunch machine. I know I will get results. I would reccomd this over all the trendy gimmick type machines out there that you would NEVER see in a gym. This machine is definetly gym quality at an affordable price.

Not worth $300
This ab machine works good but is very wobbly and not very sturdy. I would definitely buy this machine but only for about $150 it is really worth half of its value. I am not complaining about the workout becuz like I said it does it's job but when it comes to physical value with sturdiness etc. after putting it together and trying it out it will tip on someone who is bigger. Maybe more ideal for a women. I can't stress enough.. Buy this machine for a good ab workout but don't pay $300 it's just not worth that kind of money.
LOOKS GOOD, BUT VERY UNSTABLE
I bought this Ab crunch and to my greatest dissapointment, I could not fix it without additional tools unlike other exercise equipment I bought at the same time. After many trials, I got it fixed just to discover it is not stable due to one of the feet not touching the ground. For a product of this price, the manufacturers should have paid more attention to detail. Please use with care to avoid accidents.
