XMARK Calf Raise IS GYM QUALITY!!!!
I have had a few bad experiences recently buying gym equipment for my home. Recently I bought a Golds Gym Platinum Smith Machine. Total hunk of junk! I feel taken advantage of having paid what I did for it. total garbage, and not for even an average person for working out.

So, I decided when buying this piece of equipment that I wanted something a little higher grade. For the price, this machine is rock solid, heavy duty, and simple to assemble (took 20 minutes moving slow). I have been using it for weeks now and the machine is well constructed, with olympic weight sleeves included that are heavy duty, stainless steel. You can also opt for non olympic if you don't have olympic weights.

I have worked out in many gyms and I like this machine better than many of the ones I have seen in gyms. The pads above your knees, are not in a fixed position, they rotate a bit making the fit on your knees even better than a stationary pad over your knee. Makes the...

Does exactly what is advertised
I wanted to get a good quality row machine. I've owned Body-Solid equipment in the past and love their "Lifetime Warranty". The box is rather heavy, but not so bad that you can't move it by yourself. Free shipping on an item like this, plus the 40% off makes it a steal.

The instructions to assemble this are terrible. They give you two sheets to make sure you received all the parts, then another sheet just showing a full overview of how things go together. No words. I've put things like this together before, so no big deal for me, but for someone inexperienced, it may be a small challenge. It'll take about an hour to assemble.

The quality of the machine is what I expected. It'll hold up for several years. Then once/if any of the parts start to wear out, just call up Body-Solid and order replacement parts....LIFETIME WARRANTY!!!

I was able to do my first workout on the machine the same day I put it together. I was sore the next day...it works...

Very Quality Machine
The package arrived quickly. A few days before estimated as usual but the package was in rough shape. Assembly took about an hour by myself and went very smoothly with good instructions and some mechanical ability. My only complaint is that a couple of the plastic knobs were broken, but it doesn't really affect the functionality. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.
Great for home gym
I ordered this for my home gym and thought it was a great product. It was very well made when assembled and most importantly the range of motion feels good. It's not muscle head grade by any means but if you're under 200 lbs it's sturdy enough to handle whatever you're capable of. Commercial equipment needs to be really heavy duty because of the constant pounding but this unit was surpringly well designed for the money. Assembly for me was easy because I am a contractor by trade so I have a socket set and ajustable wrench whis is all you need or a minimum of two ajustable wrenches would get it done. The instructions are basic showing the parts list and another picture showing the unit and where the parts are located. It took me an hr. or so with no mistakes but everything fit well and all of the parts were there packed well and organized. I bought it through amazon as the seller and not some basement wholsaler to insure I wasn't getting a returned item by chance and not have the...

It's cheap, what did everyone expect? WORKS FINE!!!
I honestly don't know what the others expected for the price. I knew I was buying a low end piece and had realistic expectations. I've bought lots of Body Solid (not the PowerLine models) equipment and you ALWAYS have to buy the olympic adapters separate. So I knew what to expect there. If you have standard free weights, you don't have to buy them. It's as simple as that. I have a basement full of PowerTec, Hammer Strength and Body Solid equipment. I knew this was a cheaper machine, but it's a calf machine. It's not like it has to do a whole lot. Hell you can do the exercise with dumbbells and a wood block. I am a powerlifter. If I can load this thing up with plates, everyone here should be able to use it just fine. Everyone wants to whine about something. However even at the list price, this is a very cheap exercise machine. What the heck did they expect?

Great Value
This is a great calf press. It is sturdy and works well. My only complaint is that it comes with standard weight posts and no adaptors for olympic plates (which is what are shown in the picture). I had to purchase those seperately. But, for the price, it is great.
Pretty good for the price....
I have had this calf raise machine now for about a month. It is a pretty good product considering how cheap it is compared to other similar products. Very stable and durable. Only thing bad I can say about this product is when you start pushing heavy sets the pads make it a little uncomfortable on your knees but no big deal. 4 out of 5 stars. I would reccomend to anyone that works out at home.
