Excellent Exercise Bike
The Velocity Fitness Recumbent Bike is a great tool to help build stamina, release stress, and increase physical fitness. It's got a great orange accent to it, that makes it pop out visually, especially when it's put next to the typical gray, tan, and blacks of most other exercise equipment. It's quiet and does what it's supposed to do very efficiently.

I've recently become more interested in strength training and in increasing my aerobic stamina. I own an elliptical machine and while it is very low impact, my posture (or the lack thereof from using the handles) and my upper body weight occasionally causes issues with my back and knees. The joint pain I get in my legs after doing high intensity training (do a search for HIIT, if interested) on the elliptical can be intense and it makes it hard to stick with my goal of working out the following day.

I bought this bike because i wanted to start working out in the comfort of my own home. The bike was easy to assemble. Its very quiet which allows me to watch tv or read while im workng out. The stride is very smooth and there are several levels of resistance. The seats made of thick foam and very comfortable. I love the color of the bike as well. Overall, this bike is a good value for the price. I would recommed this to anyone looking for a good, quality bike at an affortable price.

It's Like A Review Only Mildly Amusing....
This, I think, is my first review on Amazon (woo hoo) and I'm mostly doing it because I'm reasonably sure the previous review is fake and from a company rep. With that said there is some truth to the review.

I just received mine yesterday and was pleased to see it was all heavy steel with no plastic that I could see, even the casing is metal. The directions were hard to make heads or tails of which turned out to be okay given that a slow witted monkey could put this thing together in under a half hour, given that I am at least a few IQ points ahead of a slow witted monkey I was able to assemble it in about 15 minutes. Once the machine is all together feels really solid with only a slight, negligible wobble to the seat but that is not unexpected given that I'm a 6 foot 215 former bodybuilder and most things wobble or yell "hey don't sit on me" when I sit on them.

Once on the machine I was pleased with the motion and resistance as it felt pretty even and the seat...

Pretty much as expected ...
I received my HCI Sprint Outrigger today.

Packaging was in good condition, all parts present, no damage. Good job FedEx!

Unpacking and setup was pretty easy, took about 10 minutes. Only tools required were hex wrenches, and they came in the box.

Initial reactions - fit and finish are reasonably good. Welds are solid - this isn't an elegant piece of machinery, but it's pretty well put together. One nice feature is a pair of locking pins that engage the rowing arms in the folded position so that they're immobilized for transit.

Less favorable reactions - someone commented elsewhere that the soft handle grips broke up with use - I can imagine this happening pretty easily, and I also think that given some harsh use, the velcro foot straps might not last too well. Seat rollers on rowing machines typically take quite a beating. Time will tell how well the rollers hold up.

Poor Quality, Very Disappointed!
I had this rower for about a week, and I have to say it was a big disappointment. I chose it mainly because of all of the good reviews, and the price. I had been using a concept 2 at the gym and I was really excited about having a rower at home.

Shipping and Assembly:

As usual, Amazon's shipping was great and the box arrived in great condition. Everything inside was well packaged, and it all seemed very solid and well put together. It assembled really easily and I was up and running within 15 minutes of opening the box.

The computer:

Completely useless as anything but a clock. The sensor that counts your rows basically picks up on the seat sliding over a certain spot. So instead of a full row counting as a pull back and then a slide forward, each motion is counted leaving it looking like you're a super-fast rower :). As with most calorie counters, I have no idea where the numbers are coming from on this thing . For how simple the functions...

I ordered this product and 3 days later it was here at my house. . . I was happy about that. But after my husband put it together and I started to use it an hour later the thing started rattleing and I can't figure out why .... I guess that's what I get for buying somthing like this so cheap :(

Awesome pull up station
Absolutely love this Pull up station. I'm 5'6" and it works great. It's tall enough I don't touch the ground yet short enough so I don't need a ladder to reach the pull up bar. My husband is 5"11" and he loves it too, no issues with height at all. The station is very sturdy and well built.

Great Product
The product is high enough for me to do pull ups. I'm 6'2" and weigh 190. It is also a sturdy and easy to put together. I got it for $215 and I'm really happy with my purchase, especially after shopping for about 2 weeks. This was the best price and quality out there. It also comes with a lifetime warranty.
Worth the price
I looked at a few of these pull-up towers before deciding on this one. Two things I like were the square form and the diagonal bracing under the arm rests. Some others were constructed with tubular steel which didn't look as sturdy. I also felt that the arm rests needed that extra bracing. I was not disappointed when it arrived. Very easy to assemble and very solid.

wall Mount exercise station
I bought 2 of these and set it up on my wall with one on top of other Vertically. Works great. I strung top three loops together to use with an inversion cable because I felt it likely would fall apart with 200 lbs on one islet ring. Works great this way, but I wish I had mounted them up a little higher for this purpose. If you might do that I suggest you spread the 2 apart a little so you have a lower mount and one going up 8-9 feet, if your ceiling is that high.

A wonderful piece of equipment.
I recently had shoulder surgery and noticed these wall-mount exercise stations were utilized at my physical therapists facility. I was very impressed at how versatile this piece of equipment was and how easy it was to move bands from one "hook" to another, allowing me to completely change the angle of the exercises that I had to perform. I couldn't find these exercise stations anywhere, so I checked Amazon. And sure enough, there they were. I ordered them from Rivers Edge and they arrived promptly in perfect condition. It only took a few minutes to get the "hooks" attached and then get the 3 stations mounted to the wall in my basement. I bought several carabiner clips to attach to the "hooks", which makes it very easy to attach and use the resistance bands in an endless array of combinations. Poor design
The weight sled did not move up and down freely and the bolts needed to be loosened all the way to get the sled unstuck. So now it moves but it wobbles side to side. I selected this device since it was wider than the others out there in the same price range and has the same look as the ones in the gym. Since it is an convertible from leg press to hack squat the pad for the feet rocks back and forth which is very annoying along with the seat back moves around. It has poor design features and quality over all

Good machine, annoying to put together
Overall, I like this elliptical so I gave it 4 stars. However, it is a bit wobbly and it does squeak a little (not a big deal, I'll just buy some oil for it). Putting it together was tedious because the instructions are really not that great and the diagram is really unclear. It's best to have two people when putting it together, although I did it by myself, it just took longer.

That's my review for the machine itself. Now, I do have to mention the seller, Golf Outlets of America - their packaging is really bad. The nuts, bolts and other small items weren't in a sealed bag but rather scattered around the box. The box ended up being damaged with a hole punctured through it so some of the nuts and bolts fell out. One of the parts was also damaged beyond repair. The good thing though was that Golf Outlets eventually responded to my e-mail about this and sent me out the missing parts (altogether, took me about 2.5 weeks to get the elliptical up because of this). Don't waste your time!
It will not peddle, like its stuck or something. The tension is turned all the way on the lowest level. My husband took it apart and put it back together 3 times before giving up on the piece of junk. Now having to waste more time taking it apart, packing back up and sending back to Amazon. Was trepidacious about purchasing this, but glad I did!
After reading all the reviews, I was very concerned about the bid I'd just placed [I purchased mine on Ebay, as it was cheaper with free shipping]. Most of them stated that some part of the elliptical arrived damaged and took forever to be replaced. I contacted the seller and asked the proper procedure for returning/replacing the item should it, in fact, arrive broken. They were very prompt and responded the next business day--it's under warranty, and as long as you email a photo of the problem with a description, they'd send out another part right away.
I was anxious to get started, so I had my fingers crossed that the shipping wouldn't damage the machine [it was shipped from Canada--quite the journey to my 'burg!].
It arrived right on time, all sixty[!] pounds. The box was sealed with tape and bound with plastic, there appeared to be no damage to the packaging. I was hopeful. I opened the box and everything seemed to be sealed pretty well and packaged tightly.

Just what the doctor ordered -
I recently purchased a PhysioStep RXT-1000 for my mother. The product was recommended to us by her physical therapist. She is recovering from a slight stroke and this product not only fit her rehabilitation and exercise needs but it also fit our budget. We also looked at the NuStep product but it was considerably more expensive and did not have the elliptical motion we were looking for.

The PhysioStep arrived in perfect condition and we had it up and running for her in less than 45 minutes. One of the nice things about the PhysioStep is that it took up minimal space, approximately 4' by 3'. Also it is self powered so being by a power outlet was not a concern. We had an initial question regarding how to use all of the exercise programs but the companies customer service department was able to help us immediately, they were really helpful.

Overall, we are really satisfied with the product and my mother enjoys using it daily.

Wow. Perfect excercise machine for bad back, knees, etc.
A couple of years ago I had great weight loss success working out on a traditional elliptical machine. However, I developed a knee injury that made it too difficult/painful to do the ellipctical motion, and the weight came back on. This past summer, I developed 2 herniated discs in my back and one of the discs created horrid sciatica. It was difficult to walk, sit, do anything. I knew I needed an exercise machine that would be easy on my back, easy on my knees and also my shoulder. THIS IS IT! I ordered it in January and it just came last week and we assembled it over the weekend. I got a GREAT 30 minute workout today, my first day. I am at a point where it is difficult for me to use a treadmill, even difficult for me to use a recumbent bike. This machine is very "comfortable" and I was able to get my heart rate up and break a sweat. Good Buy
Bought the PhysioStep after my sister recommended it to me, and glad I did! It is a great total body workout and I enjoy the feel of the elliptical motion so much more than my recumbent bike. I try to use it 3 times a week and can feel the difference already. One thing I really like is that the display screen is big and I can even read it without my glasses. I would recommend this to a friend.

A very nice performer
After researching online and in person for a decent bench press for the house, somewhere between amateur and professional, I decided on this rack and the accompanying bench, the Best Fitness BFFID10 FID Bench (see my review for the bench on its page).

First off, this was really easy to assemble. Two different sizes of bolts for two different holes. That was the most difficult part. I live alone and had it assembled by myself in less than 20 min. Everything you need is in the box, including two wrenches for attaching and tightening the bolts; no additional tools are required.

The rack feels extremely solid and sturdy. (Unfortunately, I can't find the weight limit anywhere, so I emailed the company and am awaiting a reply.) The adjustable lift-offs are easily removed and adjusted, as are the safeties. If you exercise alone, you definitely need a safety system like this one. If I rest the barbell on the safeties, it snugly touches my chest, which is perfect...

Very good compact rack
Been using for a couple of months and am quite happy with the product. Assembly was quick & fast. Noticed there were two stable positions (vertical bars slightly closer at the top or slightly wider at the bottom).

Best features:
* The safety bars (both squats and bench presses) are extremely useful when you don't have a spotter.
* Easily do both squats & bench presses on the same side by adjusting height.
* Compact footprint. You still need an 7 ft Olympic sized bar. A 6 ft bar will do if the separation between the joints is standard (I think it's 52.5" or so).
* Price! Couldn't find too many in this range that offers the safety bars as well.

Cons:
* The horizontal bar at the bottom is mounted a little high, so it can interfere with some benches. I have a folding bench and need to swap the front-back directions to get it to fit. Standard workout benches probably won't have this issue. So buy this first, and then the bench.

Great Value
This is good rack for the money. it arrived very quickly with amazon premium shipping service and all parts and pieces were included. Assembly was fairly quick and simple and there are not a bunch of small parts to assemble which is nice. The bar across the bottom doesn't get in the way much except for squatting, because you do have to step over it to get out of the rack. It is a minor annoyance that you learn to work around and can plainly be seen in the design. The safety catch bars are a nice feature, the problem with the safety bars and normal catch bars both is that the rubber is prooly glued and comes off easily. It can still function without the rubber pads of course but causes more grazing obviously. It seems very sturdy however especially considering the footprint. I have loaded up 315lbs + with no wobbly issues. The bench I purchased along with it, Bowflex SelectTech Adjustable Bench Series 3.1 (which I have also reviewed) works perfectly with the rack and have not had any...

Garming FR60 GPS Not Really.. HRM Yes Sir.
I Purchased the Garmin FR60 Bundle W/ Foot pod to Help me learn run pacing and for Triathlon Training. My old HRM just gave up but the chest strap works still works with most of the equipment at the gym without the watch. But there is no need since I have the FR60 but there are some "Issues" to deal with first. The Look and function is very good. However since I'm new to Garmin the menu's took a little getting used to and programing was a little bit difficult, but from what I've heard this is typical. Once you do get the menus down it's very intuitive and similar to other models they offer. The other reason I picked the Garmin unit is the Manufactures of other HRM's in this price range had non replaceable batteries. IE you had to send them back to the factory to be replaced. This is something I really wasn't fond of since I use mine daily. This unit fits nicely on the wrist and can be used as a "Sport Watch" and no-one would know you a Workoutaholic if they didn't know you...

Just plain AWESOME !
I have been using this watch/footpod/HR monitor now for about 6 months and I absolutely love it. It is like having a coach. I am a fairly new runner and completed a half marathon this past spring and loved it. I decided to get more serious about my training and run a fall marathon. The longer runs were really a pain because I'd have to get in my car and drive the route each time....and then remember them as I ran . And of course if an unpredicted problem came up (angry dog, suspicious person, etc) I couldn't really deviate without blowing the run and not knowing how far I'd gone . And also......my paces were off. I was running my recovery runs and easy runs WAY too fast. And then at the time I was using an old treadmill that was totally off pace, so my faster runs---well, who knows how consistent they were. I needed help !

And I got it. Everything fell completely into place after getting the watch. It basically sets ITSELF up,too. So easy to use. The Garmin...
Amazing!
I thought about this a lot. I read probably 100 reviews of all the GPS trainers and this watch. I am incredibly happy. I run and I row. I wanted an accurate pace and heart rate for zone training. This watch has been perfect. The calibration was important for me. I ran un-calibrated and it was probably 30 meters off over 800. Not bad but after calibration it is scary accurate. Over a mile it was within 3 feet. You can also find some great information from dcrainmakers blog but he did a 7 mile cross country run and the 310xt and fr60 had the exact same distance. So I don't know why people had problems with accuracy. I think it might be they didn't calibrate or didn't do it correctly. I could also be that the pod was not in the laces tight enough. I don't think I lost any accuracy from not getting the GPS watch or if I did the ability to use a treadmill is ample compensation. Ok so I thought about how cool it would be to see where I went on the map from a GPS watch, but I...

Not meant to actually be used
I loved this rower at first, although if you have small feet, it's difficult to keep them from pulling out of the pedals while rowing. 6 broken straps, several emails to Lifespan (they did replace them for me), a change to a different type of shoe, and that problem was finally fixed. Then the pulleys started to break. Ordered a new set and replaced those (those I had to buy). Now the flywheel will not recoil. Took it apart...I would have to replace the magnetic wheel assembly. It's time to give up, it just wasn't made to be used. I used this rower for 2 1/2 years. My last rower was a cheap old piston type, it lasted 12 years. I finally broke the frame. I used the rower 4 times a week, this one just couldn't hold up. And, no, I'm not some 350 pound body builder...I barely make it over 5 feet and am under 135 pounds. I don't think I should be killing rowing machines.

Good rower, not the best
I bought my LifeSpan rower about a year ago and have used it a lot with no major problems. It does the job and seems to be a good value for the money, but it definately is not a performance rower.

No chain, the pull mechanism is a strap of fabric.
Plastic wheels support the seat and pull movement. Mine have note worn out yet but they're not that smooth and they do feel as if they have worn down significantly during the year that I have used my rower.
The pull movement creates no momentum as with a fan or water resisting model, so you really cant build up much inertia and each pull feels like you're starting from a stp, which is not mych like real rowing.

All in all it's a good unit but if you're looking for something that will really take a beating and last a long time and also emulate the feel of rowing much better,...
Great Product; be careful with shipping!
We ordered this product to help in a revamping of our exercise program, and it is absolutely great in that mission. The device assembles very easily and quickly; 15 minutes or less if you lay the parts out. There are two major assemblies, and you just attach the seat and put the two pieces together. In action, the device is smooth and quiet, and it can give you a very good workout in a relatively short period of time. The electronics package is good; the only issue some may have is that changing rowing resistance doesn't appear to change the calorie count.

The only problem we had was with Amazon in shipping. This is shipped in two boxes but for some reason Amazon seems to lose sight of that fact on its own tracking. If the two boxes become separated (which ours did) and only one is delivered, they show status as "delivered". I called customer service to try to get them to help with the other box and they continually insisted that the order was one box and was...
